A warm breakfast option is always welcome on cold winter mornings, especially if its easy to make, tasty to eat and doesn’ t take time to put together. The New Year normally has everyone wanting to swear off sugar since they have overindulged over the holidays and want to get fit and healthy.

So we have the perfect recipe that is sweet, chocolatey and you don’t need to give up sugar to eat it.

This yummy Healthy Chocolate Oatmeal is just what you need to add to your meal plan in the New Year.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 2 Tbsp – Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 Tsp Raw Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Sugarlite

Garnishing

  • Strawberries
  • Chia Seeds
  • Coconut Flakes
  • Slivered Almonds

Method

  • Pour the milk into a saucepan and add the oats to it on medium flame.
  • Stir in the cocoa powder and Sugarlite.
  • Let it cook till the oats start to thicken. It will take about 10 mins.
  • Remove the oats from the heat and put into a bowl.
  • Garnish with strawberries, coconut flakes, chia seeds and slivered almonds.
  • Breakfast is ready.
