Worried about young adults dying of suicide?
Suicide is not a sudden or impulsive decision; it is a process that often progresses from thoughts to plans and, ultimately, to action. This tragic incident can be interrupted if we are vigilant and responsive. People often give signals—sometimes subtle, sometimes overt—that they are struggling, and by recognising these signs, we can take the first, potentially life-saving step toward helping them.
In today’s world, our children are under immense pressure, and many are struggling with anxiety, depression, and isolation. Unfortunately, anxious children are often raised by anxious parents, perpetuating a cycle of fear and disconnection. This anxiety can become suffocating, leading to broken connections between parents and their children—connections that are crucial for a child’s well-being.
To address this critical issue, we recently conducted a workshop where we equip parents with the knowledge and tools they need to support their children effectively. The course are led by two exceptional facilitators: Nyana Sabharwal, a suicide therapist, and Mansi Zaveri, a Conscious Parenting coach from Kidsstoppress.
