Review: Boat Ride at the Gateway

We speak of anchors, boats, sails, light house, islands, water, waves, rocks, sea gulls, but its great if they can actually see it. When: Morning 9 – 11 a.m. or evening 4 -6 p.m.Tickets are available at the Gateway of India itself for a 30 minute ride.

Honestly I didn't think of it until my daughters school field trip was organized there. Very well organized, great idea on a windy day and extremely easy to execute. The boat ride is all of 30 mins and begins from the Gateway of India. This is a great activity when you run out of all options and all the talking with your baby. They will love the wind and the chirping of the sea gulls. Its one thing to talk about a lot of concepts and the other to actually make them experience it. We speak of anchors, boats, sails, light house, islands, water, waves, rocks, sea gulls, but its great if they can actually see it. The boats are in good conditions and not rickety. Review: Definitely worth a visit To carry: Water bottle, camera, dry snacks, hat with an elastic else it will fly away. Try and carry a sling with you wallet & babies stuff all in so its easy to get on/off the boat. Sneakers or easy to wear flat slippers recommended for all. Bathroom facilities: Not available but there are enough restaurants in the vicinity to use.
