It's been over 520 days since our children saw the insides of a school. Many states in India have announced tentative dates of reopening, but with caution such as 50% capacity, alternate days, only for senior classes etc.
As a parent, today, I am confused.
Should I be worried about the rates of infection (esp the third wave and the delta variant which is showing a spike in certain areas) or be concerned about my child's overall development that she will benefit from once they resume school?
Mansi Zaveri, Founder of Kidsstoppress hosted an exclusive webinar where we discussed the one thing that is on every parent's mind today- about schools reopening- to do or not to do– that's the question!
Many states across India have announced reopening dates– with either limited capacity or alternate days or only for admission purposes etc. The message is out, loud and clear- but are we as parents, ready to accept it? How will this impact our children?
