I don’t know how I would parent without my husband. From finances to setting rules – it is a journey that takes both of us to come to the right decision. That’s when I wonder, how do single parents do it? What keeps them going?

Mansi Zaveri, the founder of Kidsstoppress.com had a super candid conversation with single mother Anmol Choudhary, of Splitsvilla fame.

She left home when she was 14 years old and has been through a rollercoaster that would have left most of us shattered. But she’s come back stronger and is raising her son single-handedly.

Anmol Choudhary speaks to us about:

  • How she found out she was pregnant and when she decided to keep it
  • She speaks about her support system, and how they helped her out so she could sail through being a single mother
  • She also speaks about anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, and more.
  • How she found her way back from all the darkness & sadness around her.
  • The importance of addressing issues like mental health & body positivity.

As a mom, she said something that totally resonated with us

The love that I have inside me I wanted to shower somebody who is worth it with that love. And my son s totally worth it! I wouldn’t change a thing .. all of what I went through is totally worth i.

Being a parent is worth everything that we go through in our parenting journey. We are the centre of that little person’s world and it makes everything else OK and better! Don’t you agree?
