The second name of the word parent is worry. Yes parents always worry about their kids. Are they healthy are they happy are they getting the best that life has to offer. Will their future be better than us? I think worry comes as naturally as becoming a mom or dad to your little ones.
We parents read millions of articles every day, either on the web or in newspapers about various political wars, fights, climatic changes natural calamities etc. etc. and always tend to worry if the world will be a peaceful and safe place for our future generations or if it was better to not bring kids into such a dangerous place. But then I came across The Project Sunlight by Unilever it completely changed my perspective.
So should we bring a child into this world? The answer is YES! This project made me realize that there may be a million things wrong in the world today but it can only be solved if we act and do something about it. No, that does not include worrying. The first step is showing concern. We all want every child in the world to have safe drinking water, basic sanitation and primary education. So the next step is to put this into action and join other like minder people or organisations to make these thoughts into a reality. This project by Unilever is an amazing way to encourage sustainable lifestyles in today’s generation so that the future of our kids is secure.
Yes, the time to changes is now! We need to sow the seeds today so that our kids can enjoy the sweet fruits tomorrow. So, if you are also a concerned parent, act today and join hand with Unilever to secure the world of tomorrow. Even if you cant join the project, talk about it and help spread the awareness. After all we all want our kids to have a better life than us!
A small step towards a big difference
