Peppa the Pig made it to our little library about 2 months ago from London. Why London because its a rage there and after reading it and seeing it online I totally understand why.

So it all started with the book peppa the pig and how to jump in muddy puddles. Its a story about how Peppa a girl pig lives with her mom & dad and little brother George and loves to jump in muddy puddles. She does teach George about how he needs to first put on his gumboots and then go squelch squelch. Its a fun book and teaches a lot of simple stuff in a non preachy way. e.g. Listening to parents, loving your grandparents, all about planting some veggies, looking after your baby brother and being affectionate towards him. Its all about togetherness in a fun way. There are many more titles available like a visit to the dentist, sticker books, noisy books, rhymes, school bus trip, Space trip, George’s birthday party and many more

Why is it rage in the UK?

In the UK its apparently an epidemic among the preschool brigade and the children just seem toÂ love the odd looking sweet little piggie family. I got to confess I have a soft corner for them too. Peppa sure is sweet without being preachy. I really wish Peppa stuff was available in India. All party organizers & kiddie people are you listening Peppa is soon going to be a rage in India so you better get ready. So there is actually a lot you can do with Peppa theÂ Pig and think we need to list them all

Itâ€™s safe to say Peppa Pig fans wonâ€™t be disappointed in Peppa Pig World. There are lots of rides including Grandpa Pigâ€™s Little Train, Miss Rabbitâ€™s Helicopter Flight, Peppaâ€™s Big Balloon Ride, Daddy Pigâ€™s Car Ride and Georgeâ€™s Dinosaur Adventures among others. Thereâ€™s a large outdoor play area, Mr Potatoâ€™s Playground, with a rainbow patterned path and Astroturf. Some of the play equipment was suitable for my 15 month old to clamber on. Next to the play area is Muddy Puddles, a splash pool area which all the children loved. Top tip: take a change of clothes and towel with you.

Indoors is a brilliant soft play area, Georgeâ€™s Spaceship Play Zone, thereâ€™s a section for 0-2 year olds and 2-5 year olds as well as a large play area and bumpy slide. Instead of the worryingly unhygienic ball pool, thereâ€™s a ball play area where the balls are pumped up to the ceiling through tubes and then dropped onto the play area where children collect them into trugs and put them into a ball machine to travel on the circuit again.

If youâ€™re hungry thereâ€™s Daddy Pigâ€™s Big Tummy CafÃ© and the toilets have additional seats for little bottoms and baby changing areas. The shop is huge and has every Peppa Pig merchandise imaginable. Itâ€™s very similar to the Legoland shop in size and layout. We plan to go there soon and add this to your must see list.
