As a mom, there is one thing that I constantly wish for and work towards. To be there, no matter what, when my child needs me. Sounds cliched, but think about it, it means a lot actually. As parents, how do we work to give our kids, unstinted support in our child's endeavours? How do we drive home the message to our kids that we will be there along with them in life's pursuit?

This week on KSP Book Club, we tell you about this new book by Malvika Patel, that teaches kids all about the unstinted parental support and teaches the parents a lesson or two on the same! Also, don't forget to subscribe for KSP Book Club newsletter, if you haven't already, to receive age-wise recommendation of the best books for your kids.

About the book:

Who Made a Hole in the Chicken Coop is the story of a young chicken who has big dreams and is trying to get her courage and her foothold to pursue those dreams. Malvika, who has penned this story for kids aged 3-7 years, with ample research on child psychology, takes on the sensitive topic of how parents must and should support their kids along their journey. A mom of two boys, Malvika, who also writes articles on parenting and raising book worms for Kidsstoppress, presents the story as a farmyard mystery, with animals as the protagonists that help reach the children better.

The story subtly teaches your kids to find their voice amidst the challenges they face every day, while pursuing their dreams and passions.

Get your little readers this book and read with/to them and maybe quiz them on what they think of the story and how they would react if they were the protagonist? Book reading, after all, is the ideal bonding time for parents and kids in today's times and books like these provide ample opportunities to do so.
