This Dad Wonders What Toys Actually Teach Our Kids

Kian’s bus is in the living room; his bricks are scattered across the hallway; a bear is lying around in his room and we can’t even count the number of toys that are strewn across the floor in our bedroom. And then, we haven’t even bothered to look what’s under the beds, table and in other nooks and corners of the house. Welcome to the home of a one-year old… of a very active one for sure.

This little guy has now discovered the ability to walk. He’s also discovered that he can carry and move things around at his own will. So, the blocks that are supposed to be stacked on top of one another are probably better spread out around the house. “Let’s play, find the blocksâ€_x009d_, Kian seems to be suggesting to us with this new game.
