The most popular challenge that parents have signed up to try and have fun with the kids this week is the one titled ' Wonders of the week'
1. Wonders of The World Pic Collage
Collect the pictures of seven wonders of the world and make a collage out of it. Name all the seven wonders of the world.
2.Toilet Paper Tube Leaning Tower Of Pisa
Create your own Leaning Tower of Pisa using a toilet paper roll. and crayons. Learn about the historic place by discussing facts with your child. Click pictures of figurines standing next to the tube and pushing it up!
3. Build Great Wall of China Using Blocks
Bring out your lego blocks and build a structure that resembles The Great Wall Of China. Refer to the image and help your child build a colourful wall. Dont forget to discuss facts about the ancient monument.
4. DIY Passport Cover
Make your own passport cover using colourful felt. Measure the size of the passport and cut out a felt piece leaving a cm of space on each side. Cut two strips of felt measuring 2 inches in width and the length of the previous felt piece. Stick these two pieces in either corner so that it makes a pocket to insert the passport. Decorate with cutouts of a plane and clouds. Plan a trip and pretend to use the passport!
Make your own simple pyramid craft using card paper, paints and glue. Simply cut a huge triangle and then cut out horizontal strips out of it., Now assemble these strips in a pyramid shape and paint it.
6. Colour A Printout Of The Taj Mahal
Print out a picture of The Taj Mahal and fill in with paints or crayons. Now print out another picture and imagine if you built the Taj Mahal what would it be like today? Would it still be white?
7.Spot The Wonders Of The World Around The Globe
Have a globe reading session with your preschooler and spot the Wonders of the World. Now talk about the fascinating things 10 countries in the world have that haven't made it to the list of wonders just yet.
8. DIY Globe Piggy Bank
Repurpose an old globe and turn it into a piggy bank! Paint it however you please and cut out a slit to feed in the coins. Your DIY Globe Piggy Bank is ready!
9. Build Colosseum Using Jenga Blocks
Build a Colosseum monument using Jenga blocks. A lovely twist to our favourite balancing game.
10. Play 20 Questions To Test All That You Have Learnt About The Seven Wonders Of The World
Allow your child twenty questions to guess the name of the wonder. Make it more exciting by timing the entire activity.
