    As parents who grew up in the 80s and 90s, one common thread that binds us all over the world, is the love for Michael Jackson. The one name that gave us goosebumps each and every time we heard him. Sadly, the earth shattering news that the legend departed this world, sent us into a swirl of emotions in 2009.

    This year, to commemorate the legend’s 58th birthday, a Mumbai based world music band Maati Baani (meaning Language of the Earth) did the unthinkable. They roped in 45 children aged 5-12 from across various countries like USA, Canada, India, Japan, South Africa and Russia to pay a musical tribute to MJ. The video, that is going viral on the social media, also comes at the time when the world is celebrating the 25-year anniversary of “Heal the world”- one of Michael Jackson’s greatest hits.
