On some days in your parenting journey, you are bound to reach a fatigued state that makes you wonder if your preschooler is any different than a teenager?! Do they even listen to what I say and follow the directions, we wonder!
Don’t worry- the mutual is common with all moms of preschoolers. From being super adorable and nodding their head to what we say, they suddenly shift to a state where they don’t listen (or pretend ) to what we keep harping about all day. That just leads to more arguments fatigue and a tired mommy and a dissatisfied preschooler at the end of the day.
- In that case, how do we get them to follow our instructions?
- How do we know they understand what we say?
- What do we do to ensure we don’t repeat ourselves again?
Educator Mrs Zarna Doshi, answers all these and more in this short video where she shares a trick to get kids to follow directions. Also, remember- to give them short form instructions. It will help them understand and act on it.
