This Viral Campaign Makes Us Wonder How Well We Train Our Kids To Look At Failures

The campaign intends to reach out to parents, teachers and children and help them understand how the learning, even at a failure is good and one shouldn’t feel disheartened. With a bunch of young boys and a coach, all disheartened about their losses, this ad is something you need to show to your little kids when they are feeling low about the small failures in life. The launch event:Kidsstoppress was a part of the star-studded launch event of Surf Excel’s Haar Ko Harao campaign and we took home some inspiring thoughts by the elite panellists- Twinkle Khanna, Sourav Ganguly and Pullela Gopichand.

As parents, when we are all set to guide our children in every little endeavour of theirs and help them achieve their goals, we need to pause and think if we are doing it completely right. Success is a wonderful feeling, no doubt and we need to inspire the kids to aim towards that success. But success doesn’t knock our doors every time and we need to face the harsh realities of failure. From anger to resentment to a low feeling, kids experience a world of emotions even on their first experience with failure and that isn’t a good sign. What can we do about this?

#HaarKoHarao campaign:

Surf Excel‘s recent campaign- #HaarKoHarao is an extension of their “Dirt is Good” philosophy. In this ad, Surf Excel shows how kids get dirty while learning to defeat failure. And not just kids, adults also learnt in this failing test how failure can be a learning process and how the journey is what counts and not just the destination. The campaign intends to reach out to parents, teachers and children and help them understand how the learning, even at a failure is good and one shouldn’t feel disheartened.

And as a continuation of their campaign, their new ad beautifully resonates the message that failure isn’t the end of the world. With a bunch of young boys and a coach, all disheartened about their losses, this ad is something you need to show to your little kids when they are feeling low about the small failures in life. Never, ever give up is what we need to teach our kids.

The launch event: 

Kidsstoppress was a part of the star-studded launch event of Surf Excel’s Haar Ko Harao campaign and we took home some inspiring thoughts by the elite panellists- Twinkle Khanna, Sourav Ganguly and Pullela Gopichand. The star achievers explained how they made it big, after battling failures and at the same time, learning from them. The common notion was to take success and failure with the same spirit- so that the journey of life becomes easier.  Each of them an achiever, in their field, explained why it is important to enjoy the learning process and not just focus on the end result.
