2020 has been being stuck indoors. 2021 gave us a ray of hope and I am very excited to plan my vacations within India. We need this time to unwind. We need this time to be in the outdoors.

It was my daughter's birthday and I think gifting her a holiday, that too a safari was the best idea. Last year went by and the only thing we did was planned food, homeschool, cleaning the house, experimenting in the kitchen. The one thing that was missed out on was quality time with the family.

For me, vacations are not only a trip. It is where the fun conversations brew. It's where we make memories. This year, we are doing something new with my daughter. We have found the courage to take her for an open jeep wildlife safari in India. We had many questions that are unanswered like will she be able to sit through so many hours on the jeep? What are the protocols one must follow? One of the biggest questions was – what should I carry on a safari. A packing list would be handy.
