The first year of a chld is like raising the middle years of your business – Varun, The Glitch
We often, unknowingly, only look at motherhood when we talk about parenting. There is very little about fatherhood, books for fathers, or any podcasts. Ever stopped and wondered why? Is it because fathers don’t innately feel for their baby and don’t call it love at first sight? Is it because all the responsibility is always a mother’s job and fathers aren’t allowed. Well, new-age parenting doesn’t suggest that. Things have changed, and I am so happy fathers are adapting, involved and hands-on. It is the era of equal parenting.
We spoke to Varun, the Chief Content Editor of The Glitch about life after being a father and we were stumped with everything he had to say on Raising Parents, a Jio Saavn podcast, hosted by Mansi Zaveri, the founder of Kidsstoppress.com.
- He speaks to us about night duties with the dogs, and his childd
- How he learnt patience from running a company with young employees
- How he he is a better dad at 30s and wouldn’t be the best in his 20s
- How he was a last bencher, trouble maker and then pulled up his socks – would give the same freedom to his child.
