Twirl it and shake it so it looks like a snake, while the other kids jump over it. If your foot touches the rope, it’s your turn to shake it. | Help daddy wash his car -Take your kids’ help to make your car look squeaky clean. This is also a chance to teach them the parts of a car. | “Pet an animal Learn all about your favourite animal. Pet and feed a neighbourhood dog/cat. “ |

Indoor Activity | “Build a pillow fort Arrange a few pillows and blankets in a corner to have a cozy little dwelling for you!” |
“Scrabble time Play Scrabble customising the game to the age of the child. Older kids can learn a new word and find out the meaning in the dictionary. “ |
“Colour sorting- Get your child to go through their wardrobe and organise clothes by colour!” |
“Tracing activities- Work on your child’s writing skills by tracing on plate of rice, sand etc. They can try spelling their name for starters.” |
“Ant watching Use a magnifying glass and view an ant through it. Ask your little one to observe the parts and draw what he/she sees.” |
Cook with Mommy | Make canapes – Host a canape party by making bite sized treats. Use colourful toppings like olives, cheese pieces, diced tomatoes, corn etc and experiment with flavours. | Make a pancake – Making pancakes is easy and fun! Get your child to help make a stack and then get creative with toppings. | Refresh with a lemonade– Beat the heat with a tall glass of chilled lemonade! Try and make different versions of lemonade using cumin, fennel seeds, rose syrup etc. | It’s cookie time! Bake a fresh batch of chocolate cookies with your little one for tea time.
