What Is Success?
I guess the only right way to define success is that success is different to different people. And Sudha Murthy agrees to this in a lovely conversation with Mansi Zaveri where she talks about success. She very simply explains how you just cannot be successful if you haven’t encountered failure.
“Failure is the stepping stone to success” this quote couldn’t be any more accurate. Often times when we talk about success and how to attain it, we forget to teach our kids the most important stage which is “failure“.
But one more aspect that can help in success is the habit of reading. And if this habit is formed in childhood, it’ll go a long way! Should they read entrepreneurial books at 5? Of course not! But just read, books that are meant for their age, picture books, illustrated books, anything. Just the habit of going and picking up a book when bored or because they want to read it is what’s important.
