Being a mompreneur is a 24*7 job. And the biggest challenge is to constantly innovate and come up with new ideas to help you move ahead in that journey. When I started the groundwork for #KSPAwards, 7 years ago, not only did I have to battle the extra hours of effort and work but also the demon in my mind that said- "Why take on more work? Aren't you doing enough, already?" (Raise your hand if you are battling these demons too!)

I am happy I quashed that thought then and there and worked on my instincts. From 37 nominees in our first year to over 2500 nominees this year, #KSPAwards has got bigger and better each year and remains the ONLY Indian awards that celebrate excellence in parenting and baby care.

What have I missed in the process?

* Those extra minutes of precious sleep where we instead chose to work on the Awards process.

* Those extra minutes bonding with the kids at the end of the day, when I was instead hurriedly wrapping up a meeting with the internal team.

* Those quiet lunch dates with my family on the weekend that I gave up amidst non-stop calls and messages from eager brands and readers.

But all the worries and thoughts disappear when I see this smile on my daughters' faces at the end of the day. They are happy seeing Mumma follow her passion and someday, I hope, they will, too! And not to mention the loveliest words of praises and encouragement we have got from the parenting fraternity- that about sums up why we do, what we do!

What is the one thing that runs in your mind every single day, as you pursue your entrepreneurial dreams? Tell us, we would love to hear!

As we eagerly await the grand ceremony for #KSPAwards2019, here is a reminder to all of you, to go and choose your trusted brands in over 60+ categories. Your vote counts!
