The last few days have taken us back in time and our playlists are brimming with songs of the Guinness Book Of World Records holder. But today’s little kids wonder who this iconic figure was, that held the entire nation together with her voice.

She was an inspiration to so many and we at Kidsstoppress wanted to break it down with 10 children’s songs the icon sang for her littlest audience. Not just that- here’s a story of how the young, reticent and shy girl made it to the biggest platforms across the world, because of her dad’s grit and determination. As a parent, I am taking that lesson home to be inspired for days to come.

He inspired her to fly higher, shed her inhibitions and set off to become who she eventually did. That is the biggest lesson I want to take back from the life of the legend, as a parent.
