It isn’t very often that you get to meet a living legend and that was exactly the thought we had when we met and interviewed Shiamak Davar. After all, we had grown up on a steady diet of his music and dance moves as kids ourselves!

Known for introducing a modern, contemporary style to dance in India, Shiamak has for the past 30 years headed a successful dance academy that has year after year produced some of the country’s best dancers. From Bollywood to the stage, from reality shows to award shows, Shiamak’s style of dance is everywhere and India seems to love it!
