How often do you update or revamp your child’s bookshelf

As parents, we are guilty of buying them a lot of toys, gadgets and new accessories but the one thing I try to balance it out is by getting my child a lot of books to keep her collection new and exciting. How many Indian-author books do you add to your child’s collection? 1. Shabana And The Baby Goat

2. A Home Of Our Own

Age: 5 years +

Author: Meghaa Aggarwal

A story that describes the innocence of kids amidst the harsh realities they live in. For kids who have never known what a home is, it is endearing to see their indomitable spirit, in collecting things of little value in their pretend-play game of creating a home for themselves. A lovely read, aided by great illustrations by Habib Ali.

3. RED 

Age: 6+

Author: Sagar Kolwankar

Touted as one of the best children's books of 2018, this one is a must-read. With all of us safely cocooned in our homes, there is very little our children know about growing up in a battle-prone zone and what life means to those kids. How do you explain war and violence to young minds? How do the kids growing up in such surroundings cope up with all of this?

This is one problem moms parents of toddlers face! As much as you discourage them to keep things away from the mouth- that seems to be the one favourite destination for your tiny tots.
