The festive week has been super busy. With Ganesh Chaturthi, Paryushan and Onam happening more or less at the same time, we at KSP, are having our hands full. From planning kid-friendly meals to decorating the homes for the festivities, it has been a long and tough week. And that’s why we want to relax for the movie night this week, with one of our favourites!
This 3D movie, directed by the legendary Martin Scorsese is based on a novel titled, ‘The Invention Of Hugo Cabret” by Brian Selznick. It is based in Paris and tells us the story of the protagonist- a young orphan who lives in a railway station and loves spending his time with clocks, and yet is out to find the purpose of his life- the one thing his dad would have wanted him to do before he died. The people he encounters on his journey and what awaits him forms the crux of the story.

Here’s why this movie is special:
- Martin Scorcese’s maiden attempt at 3D is a visual treat for the audience. For a major part of the movie, you will be so engrossed with the stunning VFX and live the life of Hugo Cabret!
- The automaton and the decoding of the messages might be tough to understand for the little ones, but they will enjoy watching the movie nevertheless.
- If you are a movie buff and love watching movies that teach as they entertain, you have then made the right choice! A meta film that introduces us to the magical world of film making, adventure, and lots more!
