The Mylapore Festival is one event Chennaiites always look forward to every year. The timing of the event couldn’t be more perfect- ringing at the end of the Margazhi season, the event looks to celebrate the spirit of the oldest and most popular localities of the city.
About the Mylapore Festival:
This fest that is more than a decade old, celebrates the food, dance, folk arts, kolam, crafts and other wonderful things happening in and around the Sri Kapali temple.
What’s in store this year:
Spanning over four days, in over 12 venues, with 30 plus events and 300 artists, the schedule looks packed with fun things to do for everyone in the family.

And the highlight of the Mylapore Festival, year after year, is the delightful range of street food and traditional Mylapore food you get at the road stalls that are absolutely to die for!
