Children take an instant fascination and liking for pet animals and very rarely would you find them have a dislike or fear for animals. It is often the parents who tend to pass on their fear of animals to children, that makes them stay away from pets. I will confess, I am very scared of animals. But luckily my daughters aren’t as sacred as Mommy Pig is!

No, my daughters didn’t insist I bring home a pet, but their perspective and kindness towards the furry friends definitely improved!

- Create a cosy reading corner in your living room. Stash some summer coolers and call the kids over for a reading playdate.
