All of us love hide-n-seek, don’t we? But with the rains lashing the city, it becomes difficult to take your kids out to the park and play the game. How much fun would it be if you could play a bit of hide-n-seek and treasure hunt in the comfort of your living room and at the same time ensure that your child develops their memory and counting skills? My Little Cabbage does just that.
My Little Cabbage is the latest game by Chalks and Chuckles( see more of their gameshere.) A visually appealing game that teaches kids as they play, this game is deigned to improve essential concentration skills, and memory skills for your child. Ideal for kids above 3 years, My Little Cabbage is a 1-4 player game.
There are two games that your child can play with My Little Cabbage.
Game 1: Â The aim of this game is to find out which squirrel is missing, to develop the child’s memory skills. Have the child take a look at the 8 squirrels and once you hide one or more inside the cabbage pouch, the child has to identify the missing squirrel.
Why we love this :This game helps in improving the visual skills of the child and helps them understand the different colours and patterns. They also come in handy as finger puppets!
Game 2: Here each card has a different texture and the kids are meant to touch and feel each card.  Once they are familiar with each one of them, you can hide them all in the cabbage pouch. The kid will have to pull out one of the cards, feel the texture and identify the right pair blindfolded.
Why we love this: This helps improving the sensorial and memory skills of the child.
