Experience the Adventure trail at Sanjay Gandhi National Park

Right from the fine mixed forest dominated by bamboo to the first stream, get to experience the offerings of the trail while you glide through the flora and fauna, butterflies like Baronet, Common Leopard and Stripped Tiger also birds like Lotens Sunbird, Common Iora, Southern Coucal, Grey Jungle fowl and occasionally mammals like Spotted and Sambar Deer.

SGNP Birds

The Bombay Natural History Society takes you through the trail at Sanjay Gandhi National Park. Right from the fine mixed forest dominated by bamboo to the first stream, get to experience the offerings of the trail while you glide through the flora and fauna, butterflies like Baronet, Common Leopard and Stripped Tiger also birds like Loten’s Sunbird, Common Iora, Southern Coucal, Grey Jungle fowl and occasionally mammals like Spotted and Sambar Deer. You will be a lucky bunch cause you get to walk through the bamboo-grove trail, which is not accessible easily, usually for which special permission is required.

All that the kids need to carry is adequate water and packed breakfast and they are all set to experience the adventure!!

Kids below 15 years need to be accompanied by their parents.

Note: Participants have to buy the entry ticket at the main gate.

Reporting: Members to meet at the SGNP beyond the Ticket counter under the map at 7.30 a.m.

Timing: 7 30 am to 11:30 am

Charges: ₹ 150 and ₹ 200/- for others (Includes Forest Department permission fees and BNHS expertise only).
