I feel very strongly that kids should be taught about money. Sometimes, it's not that I can't buy a particular thing or take them to a place they want to go to, but they need to understand the value of money. But given their age, explaining why we can't buy them everything they want isn't always easy.

Mansi Zaveri of KSP spoke to Ravi Subramanian, an Indian author, banker and a parent all rolled into one. Parents and kids had so many questions for him. He has a simple way of explaining the difficult things to children. We've shared a few of those questions and answers with you today. In the coming weeks, watch out for some more episodes and have your questions answered by the financial guru.
