What does it take to raise a book lover, I often wonder.
As a parent, in addition to getting her the best books and frequent trips to the bookstore, I often think if there is anything more I must do to help her fall in love with reading and probably even help her pick up a pen and write a line or two!

About the event:
Over the last 3 years, Peek-A-Book has managed in winning the hearts of the parents of book worms as a one-of-a-kind lit fest in a carnival-like set up that recreates the magic of words, language & stories of books and authors, mainly Indian.
More than 25 sessions are planned on books, stories, art and music that will enthral your kids of all ages. And who will you and the kids get to meet? The impressive line up includes:

- Jane D’Souza
- Naynika Mahtani
- Rituparna Sarkar
- Zainab Tambawala
- Khyrunissa A
- Lavanya Karthik
- and of course- the curator of this fab event- author Lubaina Bandukwala!
The festival will also feature Art@PAB and Music@PAB curated by Avid Learning and include a performance by the students of the Mehli Mehta Foundation as well as True School of Music and Indian School of Design. A special quiz for children is being organised this year that you would love to witness. Titled the Most Splendiferous Book and Language Quiz, the final round of this quiz will take place on December 1st at 4 pm among the best brains from the city’s schools.
Peek-A-Book’s flagship event is the Children’s Choice Award that allows your children to decide the books they love-don’t miss this so you know just what the kids love to read! The other fun events include The Great Cricket War – a match between two author teams and “Bing -your-grandparent- to- the festival”- a special story hour and lots more.
