Panchtantra Tales Review

I would recommend the books which have 4 – 5 stories than the collection one as that gets too bulky. They have all the stories you read as a child: The Four Friends, Carpenter & the Monkey, Monkey & the Crocodile, Crane & the crab, The intelligent Hare and so many more.

As far as I can remember these were the first story books I bought when my daughter was about 13 months. Below is my reasoning

1. 70% of the page is pictures

2. They teach morals and not fairy tales. I did read somewhere that fairy tales are not the best thing to read to your child when you start reading. Yeah eventually we all forget it and get carried away in the land of Snow white & Cinderellas, et all

3. Language is very simple

4. The have  a lot of animal stories so helps teach them animals when they are that young.

5. I love Pacnchtantra stories & I grew up reading them so I wanted to read them again. Come on, if you have to read the same story a zillion times you better like it.

Anyways so they have a variety of them and the stories are quite interesting. I would recommend the books which have 4 – 5 stories than the collection one as that gets too bulky.

Review: Buy one of the books from their series to see how your child responds. I recommend these as there are fairly large pictures. Recommended age on the book is 5+, but I would recommend it  for kids 9 months and above. However you need to be around as its not a hard bound book so they can easily tear it.
