Come Autumn and we see a lot of outdoor activities & events back in swing and this time around its time for the Circus. For the first time in circus World, India plays host to its first ever International Circus festival this year, as the famous Rambo Circus pitches its grand tent at Bandra Reclamation Ground, near Lilavati Hospital. With the participation of award winning circus artistes from across the globe and with many unique attractions to boast of, the event is truly a first-of-its-kind. The spellbinding feats performed by traditional Indian artistes as well as circus stalwarts from 6 countries- India, Tanzania, Nepal, Russia, Uzbekistan & Ethiopia- are the highlights of the festival. The fully air-conditioned and fire resistant tent is a certain crowd-puller, along with smoke machines, live band, special lights, 150 artistes & various animal acts. If you are trying to underestimate your little one and think she is too young for it and procrastinate over it, think again. I saw the circus last year when my daughter was 2 and she remembers everything. The circus hasn't changed one bit since we watched it and there is literally nothing that has changed or been added in terms of the acts. The impact of watching it live is amazing. The breath taking 2 hour 10 minutes performance is a combination of 36 acts that include aerial act,juggling, balancing act, clowns, acrobatic, death of globe and outstanding animal acts.The live band, digital sound, lazer lights system and other special effects make the circus a memorable experience to the viewers. The magnitude of the tent and watching the act with some popcorn is fun.Its a once a year affair and I would seriously urge parents to go for this. If you are wondering whether its good or not worth the trip to Bandra? My answer would be this is your only bet to show your kids the circus and like I've said before they are not judgmental and don't understand good or bad, international or local, they understand fun & experience.
