Riding is for everyone – Yes! That’s the belief that a mother –son duo had and converted their family passion into the only Private Equestrian School in Western India – Japalouppe. Established in the year 1998 mother Loraine and son Rohan More are responsible for one of the most leading and foremost equine training provided in Western India. Spread over 12 acre land, the duo celebrates the sport by providing cutting edge Equine solutions which include training, riding, breeding of horses, education programs, veterinary back up, nutritional consultancy and performance horse management.
What’s in a name?
Japalouppe is a small French horse who was subject to severe criticism because of his small height and inability to participate in the world of show-jumping. Japalouppe and its rider Peirre Durand were determined to succeed in show-jumping. Today they are a legend in the world of show-jumping and have credited themselves with a gold medal in the 1988 Olympic Games.
What to expect?
The team at Japalouppe aims to take riding to the lay-man with their quality Equestrian consultancy services. Their annual Equestrian games are an event that gathers riders and horses of all age groups. They also conduct workshops that promote the sport to masses and become a centre point for expertise in the field to come together from across the country.
India’s largest private horse-riding school trains a new generation of young horsemen and women every year with an impressive 14000 riding lessons throughout the year. Their trainings are not just technical riding lessons, they impart the understanding of developing and maintaining a trusting relationship with the horse they ride. The training is provided for adults as well as children.
The petting Farm service provided by Japalouppe is largely a pick by young riders. The 12 acre land is also a resident to farm animals where young children and adults can interact with the animal family.

Camps, Techniques, other activities
It’s a great sport to be involved into for you as well as your kids. The kids can participate in their camps to learn about horse riding and the techniques from the qualified trainers. Their activities range from riding, seasonal camps like monsoon, Diwali, winter and their Annual Equestrian Games. This proves as a step by step gateway for your kid to master the sport. Even if your child is a first time rider, he/she can get trained under the special guidance of trainers. The kids can enroll for vacation training sessions and regular training depending upon their priorities. Further individual classes are also provided with pick and drop facility. They maintain a student ratio of 1:5.

Age – 8 to 16 years of age
Members : Instructor Rs. 700/- and Sr. Instructor Rs. 900/-
Non-Members : Instructor Rs.850/- and Sr. Instructor Rs. 1100/-
Timings – 9.00 am – 11.00 am and 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm
Mandatory Riding gear: Clothes suitable for riding (full-length riding breeches/jeans that allow free movement); footwear riding bots/sports shoes; helmets will be provided.
