There are times when life reminds you of how you take it for granted at all times. When you hear of facts like these you will truly believe that yes I do take life for granted and there are times when you must just count your blessings.
When I first saw this video I was expecting a sad data filled communication that would be harsh to listen to. But here there is one of the sweetest communication messages with such a strong message that I have seen in a really long time. If you want to know what I mean then here it is:
What it leaves you to ponder over:
1. There are an estimated 2.5 billion people around the world who do not have access to improved sanitation – that’s two fifths of the global population (37%). That is a huge number of people
2. Something so simple qualifies as a basic right and so many people across 50 countries including India do not have access to.
3. Every day 2,000 children die from diarrhoea, which could have been prevented with proper sanitation.
Why Domestos?
Domestos is contributing 5% of its average proceeds received from the sale of specially marked bottles of Domestos in select countries. Proceeds will go towards UNICEF’s CATS programmes in the Philppines, South Sudan and Vietnam and will also go towards improving sanitation in India, Indonesia and Brazil.
Now that you know of the details don’t be ignorant about it and make the difference you can to those children who need it.
