Yes you heard it right. You can make a soap at home too. Living upto it’s promise of learning about things of the world from home Traveller kids has launched a Soap Making Kit that’s so tempting to pick up and then go ahead and try. Anybody thinking solution to Bath Time Tantrums! 🙂 Well probably it could be a solution. We tried the kit this weekend and it’s really simple. No fancy instructions just plain fun.
In the tub:
2 handmade glycerin soaps, natural lemon essential oil, natural colour dye, natural loofah scrub, 2 moulds.
Worth a bubble bath?
I love the age description on the box that says age 6 to 103 years . Only because its true I was just as excited making this as my 5 year old. It’s fairly easy for the kids to make unlike a lot of DIY activities where you need to constantly monitor the kids. The activity is a quick 10 minute activity and the soap probably takes a couple of hours to set. What would have been fun is to have different fragrances and colours for each soap but I know the folks at Traveller Kids are listening to us. What does make it all worth it is the excitement the kids have when they use the soap everyday.
Extremely well priced at Rs 200 this one works well for gifting for many occasions and is a great DIY ideas.
