‘Am I spending enough time with my child? Am I not spending enough time with my child? Have I missed way too many milestones, am I missing key moments in my child’s growth/development?’ These are some of the thoughts, not just modern dads, but all modern parents have.

In today’s day and age of technology and the smartphone, even when you’re out of the office, you’re not really away from work. You’re expected to be responsive and reachable at all times. You’re expected to always be available ‘should an emergency arise at work’, and so, even when you’re home, you wonder if you are actually at home. Therefore the questions I posed right up front are more relevant to today’s parents than they probably ever were. Are you really there for your child? Maybe not, and so…
