7 Craft ideas for kids this week

I know it’s hard to kind of dig through lots of DIY craft ideas and then plan something you want to do today. Stories through stones: Use stones you find in your everyday walks with your kids or the stones that they pick up from the park/gardens and make stories from them. Hey Parents of the world! I know it’s hard to kind of dig through lots of DIY craft ideas and then plan something you want to do today. So here is what we’ve done. Craft ideas for all days of the week. You can pick and choose the ones that you like and if you plan to take the weekend of then do so without any guilt. So will be starting a great new weekly post on craft ideas! This is awesome to engage your child in creative activity and having fun at the same time. Things you can do sitting at home! If you are not the craft sorts pick the easy ones but don’t avoid them. We may think it’s a lot of work but the kids love it.

1. DIY STAMPS: DIY Stamps are a lot of fun to make and help in doing a lot of other activities. You obviously know that now you can personalize the postal stamps too. They can be used to make frames, borders, patterns and prints! Do try this quick and fun activity with your child. Read More

Paint them and weave tales, a great way to tell stories and have fun at the same time. I absolutely love this idea because it needs absolutely no supplies that are not available. 3. Colours and Shaving Cream:  What do you get with lots of colours and shaving foam? A great messy and educational afternoon! They mix a variety of colours and experiment with various outcomes using paints on shaving foam! This is a great activity for sensory play. This is a great gift for babies and DIY activity for mothers. It’s a book which helps enhance the sensory ability of the baby through a beautiful and colourful experience! Textures and a plethora of colours can come alive via this book. 6. Monster Balloons: Do you have a birthday coming up or just the fact that your kids are obsessed with balloons and you are tired of just blowing them up and having them burst. Here is a cool way to make sure the balloons last a little while longer and you have fun with the balloons long after you’re done blowing them. Read More

7.  The paper Fashionista: This is a great craft activity that can take from 15 minutes to the whole afternoon. Get your kids to doll up the paper dolls in vivid colours and fashion styles! If you are pressed for time then you skip making the cutouts of the dolls and instead just draw these on paper. Read more
