About Indie Project Store:
In what started as a small Instagram shop that had a few word-of-mouth fellow moms as clients, Indie Project Store has now carved a name for itself in the kids' apparel industry. Their collections are made of pure cotton- so you know you are opting for nothing but the best for your kids. And not just that, they also house other curated collections of new mom essentials such as toys, baby utility products, bedding essentials, footwear and moms' wear.
How it all started:
When their founder Shilpi Sharma was on the lookout for comfortable loose cotton clothing for kids that came in interesting designs and prints-the children's market didn't offer her much to choose from. She then resorted to DIY designing and the outcome, when she shared with her friends, was more than welcoming. Along with her co-founder and business mind Satyabhama N, she decided to launch Indie Project Store as a brand. Starting as a clothing brand, Indie Project Store now reaches out to other desi artisans and mompreneurs to become the one-stop shop for unique children's products that parents and kids will love to use.

We, especially, loved their Handmade Kalamkari sandals collections for kids by Pretty Random made by the artisans in Bihar and Tamilnadu and the entire Kannamma dolls collection by Shivanjali Crafts. Do take a look!

The designs are inspired from everyday happenings around us- and the kids. We simply loved the quirky designs these collections come in. Just like the children, the innocence seeps in through the prints, the softness in the fabric and the simplicity in the design.

Amidst popular beliefs that cotton wear is restricted only for normal days, their cotton collections for kids with hand-block prints and colourful designs are an apt choice for any occasion or a special family outing. Blends the western styles with desi prints and fabrics!
