First Look: Our New Portfolio Shoot + Meet MommyShots By Amrita!

Celebrity kids are not the only ones who get to enjoy the privilege of being photographed in fancy locations or by big photographers. Thanks to professional photographers and the love for memories, parents like you and me can enjoy treasuring the best moments in our parenting journey. Amrita Samant, one of the most famous baby-and-family photographer recently captured my kids and me through her lens and I must say she is a favourite among babies, toddlers, and parents too! Her pictures speak a thousand words and you are sure to nod once you finish reading this post.

Say Hello To Mommy Shots

“I think entrepreneurship chose me”, says Amrita Samant, when asked about how Mommy Shots came into existence. Like most others, Amrita started her career in a regular company and also enjoyed what she was doing. However, her passion for arts since childhood and the urge to do something creative never let her settle for a 9-5 job. That’s when photography happened.

Photography started off as an interest when she began capturing pretty pictures of her sister’s twins. Soon the comfort with babies grew and the idea of combining her two most favourite things – babies and photography led to her becoming an entrepreneur.

Mommy Shots is all about mommies, babies and their families. From documenting a day in the life of a baby (which is the most recent addition) to capturing their milestones and special moments, Mommy Shots aims at capturing your special moments in beautiful ways so that you can treasure them for a lifetime. After taking baby steps, Amrita has also taken her passion to a different level by capturing celebrity kids and their families, both in and outside India. Apart from clicking pictures which you could treasure, Amrita also conducts workshops and online classes for aspiring photographers in the field of baby and child photography.
