The nation is celebrating Dussehra in all its festive glory, singing the praises of the mighty warrior Goddess Durga and how good conquered over evil. We at KSP, have suggested how you can make explaining festivals to your kids through books and our radio spots.
Here is a classic throwback to the magic that this Delhi-based artist created. In a bid to simplify the story of Goddess Durga and Mahishasur, this artist created a series of illustrations that cater not only to kids but to adults as well. Artist Rajkamal Aich tells HuffPost India why he ventured into this:
“The primary goal is to acquaint children, who have grown up with Cartoon Network and Japanese comics, with Indian mythology. Kids just want a simple story, so, I broke it down for them and made it kid-friendly.”
