Kareena Kapoor Khan is the uncrowned supermom of Bollywood. From walking ramp shows when expecting to slay the Bollywood industry after the birth of her son, she is simply unstoppable. But if there is another force from the Kapoor Khan household that takes over the headlines- it has to be the li’l adorable Taimur Ali Khan. Everything the little munchkin has done has made it to the top headlines and social media is constantly abuzz with his photos. But we must say that he has taken to it really well- from striking a pose to waving at the media- the almost 2-year-old Taimur proves he is the real star kid and is here to win our hearts!

In a recent interview to Vogue, mommy Kareena Kapoor spoke about what Taimur means to her, why being a working mom was essential and how she has started to handle all the social media attention towards her son. On the attention her barely 2-year-old gets from the media:

“I hate it, but what can we do but ignore it? We (Kareena and Saif) both believe that children are a product of their parents and their surroundings, and at home, we plan to keep it as normal as possible. That will be his foundation.”
 

On what every mom feels when their child takes centre-stage!

“It’s like I’m forgotten! Is Taimur here? Is Taimur coming? What is Taimur doing?”
 

On how Saif and Kareena schedule their work time for Taimur:

"My lifestyle has changed, and I do prefer to start a little later so I get the mornings with him.” She also mentioned how she and Saif plan their schedules at least one parent is home with Taimur for dinner and bedtime.  

About working moms striking the right work-life balance:

“It’s so important to do the things you love. If I am not happy, how do I keep my family happy?” I wanted to be a mother, but at the sametime I was not ready to give up my entire life. It’s important that Taimur sees a woman who comes home after a hard day’s work and is happy. Also, let’s be honest, women are better at multitasking!”
