Each morning when I drop my kids to school and head to work and admire the photos on my desk carefully planted between the LEGO Frame my daughter built this Mother’s day. I quickly rearrange a few bricks on my desk and I realise this playing for me is a release. It’s my recreation, it’s my time to channelise my thoughts, get new ones, build on some which I have been putting off on the back burner. No matter how old we are, play is important. Play in all forms is important.

I realise play makes me happy: 95 % of children say play helps them relax and takes their mind off school. Each time I search for gifts whether it’s birthday, special occasions, Festivals or Children’s Day, I search for opportunities that make us all feel alive. That broadens our horizon, helps us think out of the box and most importantly escape into a world of possibilities.

This Children’s Day will be no different. I head to the LEGO store on Amazon and search for a new LEGO Play set. It is my indulgence as a parent to raise kids who will in turn develop their creativity, communication, curiosity, problem solving skills, collaborate, build resilience and critical thinking skills as we play along.

I enjoy being a kid with my children because when I build with LEGO.

I go beyond the manual, beyond the expected. There is no right, there is no wrong. There is discovery to build something new each time, one brick at a time. In fact, six 2×4 stud LEGO bricks of the same colour can be combined in over 915 million different ways. Now you know what I mean!!!

I read that:84% of children wish their parents could play more with them. Is your child part of this 84% too? Let’s not be part of this statistic for sure !

So here is my list of Infinite Possibilities to Build one brick at a time.
