If you are tired of borrowing toys that have an American context which our kids cannot relate to or you have kids like mine who love playing games then Clever Cubes games are for you. They are specially designed for kids aged 2-7years. They are extremely innovative games which helps the child to develop his logically thinking skills. The objective of these games is to help child to develop vocabulary, enhance concentration, to recognize road signs, to recognize pattern, to reinforce the concept of symmetry, etc.

Though not available at all locations and primarily at the Funskool store at Kemps corner these are puzzles/games/concept toys I would urge you to buy.

So here are the ones I bought and trust me we just can’t get enough of it:

Seasons: A board game that teaches you about 3 seasons namely winter, summer and monsoon and what you see, eat and wear in those seasons

Oranges and lemons: A quick spin board game that teaches you about all those complicated questions on fruits, veggies, seeds and lots more

Community helpers: This one is so important as it talks about the Indian community helpers and what they use and wear. Finally!

Sequencing: Its sequencing with fun. Roll the dice to move ahead on the board and en route to the finishing line you will land on instructions like. Make popcorn, pizza, french fries, wash the dishes, paint a clown, make a beaded necklace and lots more. Here are a few more that we tried and absolutely love it.

  1. Spot the dots.
  2. Jumbles jingles.
  3. Traffic jams.
  4. Habitat
  5. Senso.
  6. Dual Lacing

Each game is priced at an average of RS 200. They mention the right age that’s applicable for your child and give you all the answers to the questions.

Whatever be the concept you wish to teach your child they have it and in a very simplified way. So go ahead and splurge on some puzzles/concept toys that are not run off the mill.
