Nestle India has launched a rich & creamy new milk & dahi that is yummylicious. The new Nestle Milk promises to be ‘Cow to consumer’ product and promises to be consistent in taste & quality. As moms we believe that boiling takes care of deficiencies in milk quality if any, and kills all impurities & germs but in reality this is not completely true. Boiling along with the impurities & germs also takes away some nutrients from the milk.
While I really like the taste & the texture of the milk here is a little something I did read up to know why I should buy this one vs. all the others available. You know how moms are right? We need to research everything before it makes it to our babies.:)
So they promiseÂ
• Right fodder to prevent contaminants and ensure optimal nutrition.
• Safe use of veterinary drugs.
• Good farm hygiene practices.
• Farmer education programs.
• Using clean and hygienic vessels to collect milk at the farms.
• Non collection of milk for a specific period of time from cattle given antibiotics.
• Periodic farm surveys and updated field intelligence.
• Antibiotics residue prevention program.
• Incentives for quality milk production.
• Bulk Milk Coolers (BMC) to store milk in optimal temperature (4 °C).
• Insulated, hygienic tankers which maintain optimal temperature.
Priced at Rs 57 its expensive for a litre of milk but it tastes delicious and makes me feel like I am buying milk that could be less adulterated.
Review: Try it for its rich, creamy & consistent taste
