Review: Shree’s Aesops Tales of Moral

If you are at any of the bookstores you cannot manage to miss the large rack that Shree has taken up to recreate the magic of the Aesops Tales of Moral. The classic stories that we’ve always loved lose charm in Shree’s version of the books.

While the size of the book and the pictures are appealing, the stories fail to strike a chord and connect with the kids as well as the adults. I did read about 2 – 3 books to my daughter who is all of 3 but the stories are too brief and don’t explain the moral in detail. After reading the stories as well you may not understand what the story was actually trying to convey.

Shrees attempt is nothing in comparison to the classic Aesops Tales.
