Parenting counselor Rupal Patel and Children’s author Meher Marfatia take your kids through interesting Book Club sessions with the idea to expose children to different genres of reading they don’t always easily access in local libraries or bookstores. The kids will read the book of the month and meet in the Sunken Garden of NCPA to discuss a book. Besides every kid gets to share his/her take on the book its characters & how they would have wanted the story to end differently. What’s interesting is that they even get to enact their favourite part of the narrative, design individual book jackets, create new eye catching back-of-the-book blurb and games to bring the title more to life book. Whenever possible, a film version of the story, exciting field trips hinging around a book’s theme, guest speakers and Meet-the-Author sessions are also arranged.
