Rati is a true manifestation of an urban nomad. She has lived and learned in India, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and the USA. She began her career as a journalist with NDTV and then moved to the USA where she worked with the Houston Arts Alliance as an amateur folklorist. A few years later, she wrote and published short stories in anthologies and wrote on bringing up her kids for Scroll.in. That's when she realized she loves writing above all and now tries to earn her bread and marmalade only through that skill. Presently, she is successfully juggling a career at Kidsstoppress, two sons, and a big dog, while talking politics and pop culture with her husband.
