When my husband and I start planning a vacation, one of the first things we do after deciding on the location, is to check out the Airbnb website for possible places to stay. Why? It's because of the convenience it offers for families that travel with children. When I travel anywhere in the world with the kids, my main concern is what if they don't like the local cuisine and kick up a fuss there? There is nothing more putting off and tiring than a cranky child with an empty stomach – especially when you're on holiday.

We have booked Airbnb services when we've travelled abroad and it made life so much easier for all of us. The convenience and the comfort factor that the kids loved were a big relief to me, as a parent. We have since started using Airbnb services in India as well.
