Back in the day, we weren’t lucky enough to have so many choices of entertainment like kids today gladly enjoy. All we had were books, toys and our own imagination. But then again, when I think about it, maybe we were lucky to not have this kind of technology. Because we had amazing books and comics that were enough to shut out all our boredom.

These were the books and comics I grew up with and I’m pretty sure you would have shared a bond with these too.

  1. The Amar Chitra Katha series
  2. Tinkle
  3. Chacha Chaudhary
  4. Archies
  5. Champak

Do these ring a bell? I remember spending hours and hours together enjoying these stories. And today when I share these with my kids and watch them read, it brings back a truck-load of fond memories. Those stories, somewhere shaped me and my beliefs. They spoke of the real world and not just some small talk. They had meaning and values and life lessons. I’m so glad I get to share these with my kids now, knowing they are reading something that will add value to their life too!

Reading was something that inculcated in us naturally, because honestly, we didn’t have a choice! But today, with the entertainment options galore, reading has reached the very bottom of that list. Nonetheless, reading is still the most productive habit that children should have! Are you finding it hard to get your kids to open a book, let alone read one?

At KSP, we understand the importance of this habit. With the KSP Book Club, you get access to a whole rec of books that are especially curated for kids. They are fun, easy to understand, have amazing stories and so much more!

We also offer a whole bunch of kids courses that teach you how you could make your kid fall in love with reading.

We can’t duplicate the stories that we grew up with. But these books will share the same bond with your kids like Archies or tinkle did with you. So what are you waiting for? Join the KSP Book Club now!
