Aanya & Akshata Get An Amazing Room Makeover

The husband and I have been contemplating on getting the kids room done for a while but it was hard to figure an easy solution that would be hassle free, on a budget, simple and really, done in no time. With the amount of options available today it’s hard to pick which theme works best especially when you have 2 girls with Diverse (with a capital D) choices. We started with a step by step approach taking one thing at a time. We begun with the walls because we were quite sure that would give the room the much needed uplift. Next on the agenda are cute wardrobes, a cute library and beds with extra storage(the mom in me can never get enough storage).

So our daughters have diverse tastes. The older one who is 7 and loves books, mysteries and maps while the younger one who is 3 is still into animals,tutus and sea creatures.

Enter Asian Paints, India’s most well known name in the paint and interior industry has a special gift for children! They have launched a new line of 13 design themes aimed especially for children to fall in love with!

With a lot of decoration devoted to just the walls, the ceiling is usually left out of all the creativity. A magical world for your kid. giving your kids the feeling of sleeping under a star-studded-sky or zooming into outer space and much more.

On the other hand we could even choose from 11 exciting MAGNEETO wall themes. These themes, along with their special magnets are designed to let children play out their different fantasies and help their learning. From being an underwater scuba diver to a dancing sensation to a space traveler, your little ones now have their own world to play in.

However our favorite was the ‘Glow-in-the-Dark’ theme. From the Fairy Dust, Flying Kick, Music Theme to Travel Trails, every theme creates an entertaining new world for your little one. And when it’s night, the ‘Glow-in-the-Dark’ paints used in the themes keep your child mesmerised. They had the chance to experience an extraordinary world of imagination – morning, noon and night.

We selected the Bird Time Story Theme and after an initial inspection the wall was done in less than 24 hours.

While I was away with the kid’s the team from Asian Paints popped in for a day and created this magical wall for it to be ready and surprise the girls once we were back from our holidays. If you think this looks lovely wait till the lights go off and the magic begins.

As part of the Wall Tales initiative, Asian Paints is conducting a school contact program with an on-the-spot story writing contest. Submitted stories will be uploaded by the paint company on a micro-site for parents to witness. 70 Students from the 3rd to the 5th standard will win an opportunity to bring their imaginations on to their walls through a Kids World Wall makeover by Asian Paints.
