With multiplexes that house all-in-one options from movies to meals to play areas to shopping, heading out to the nearest multiplex on weekends, is a given for today’s families. And after a hard week of toiling at work, it’s time kids and parents bond together over a tub of popcorn and catch up on the latest release!

1. The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part

Release date: February 8th

Bricksburg has new challenges this time- some even from outer space in the form of invaders. How do Emmet, Lucy and Batman handle this? Find out in this much-awaited sequel this February. 

2. Wonder Park 

Release date: March 15th

Never underestimate your child's power of imagination! When little June imagination goes wild, a whole amusement park comes to life! Wait, what? How does she handle all of this? 'Go for a ride' with little June and her friends this March!

3. Dumbo

Release date: March 29th

Loosely adapted from Disney's own animated film from 1941, Dumbo narrates the story of a little elephant, who has enough battles in his life to face but is also equipped with superpowers. What happens next in Dumbo's movie and a struggling circus forms the story. 

4. Aladdin

Release date: May 24th

This Guy Ritchie adaptation of 1992's famous movie by Disney is back this year, with a new, fresh look. The magic, the spells, the powers and of course, the adorable Genie are all back for your kids to enjoy this May. 

5. The Secret Life Of Pets 2

Release date: June 7th

The sequel to 2016's much-appreciated animation film, is back this year. What happens when we, humans leave home for work or school? What do the pets at home do? Find out in this hilarious sequel releasing this June. 

6. Toy Story 4

Release date: June 21st

How easy or difficult is it to make new friends? Our favourite Woody of Toy Story finds out in yet another sequel to the delightful world of toys and how they get along with each other. 

7. The Lion King 

Release date: July 19th

Personally, this one is my favourite! If you are like us and have taken a trip to Africa just to see Mufasa and Simba in real life, then your childhood movie is coming in an all-new avatar! The Lion King has a celluloid uplift and we must tell you, it is everything you wanted it to be! 

8. Dora The Explorer 

Release date: August 2nd

Your child's favourite cartoon series just got a whole- new facelift with this new movie. Li'l chirpy Dora is all grown up now and is solving mysteries like a pro detective! What's ins store for Boots fans? Let's wait and watch. 

9. The Angry Birds Movie 2

Release date: August 2nd 

Releasing along with Dora is another favourite, the sequel to the Angry Birds from 2016. The birds are now really angry, but why? What are they trying to solve this time? We find out. 

10. Frozen 2

Release date: November 22nd 

Saving the best for the end of the year, 2019 promises the sequel of one of your child's most fav movies of all time-the Froze. Coming after a good 5 years, it would be interesting to see how Elsa and Ana have changed (or not) over the years! Can't 'let it go'!
