Teaching behaviour to toddlers is quite challenging but not if you have a great friend like Bubbles. Honestly I didnt know about Bubbles until my daughter picked up the book at a bookstore. I would like to share a little tip with you here. Leave your child free in a bookstore (obviously in the kids section and I don’t mean unattended) and let her explore books on her own. You know kids have this knack of choosing books you will never find. Most of the books that we have in our little library are chosen by my daughter and trust me they are the ones we love the most.  They tend to choose books either on the size, pictures, characters or just something very intuitive.

She was the one who chose Bubbles to be her friend. So the series is about Bubbles, a little monkey who through various situations teaches moral behaviour. So one of the stories is about how Bubbles finds a red ball in the garden and how he has a lot of fun playing with the ball. Just then a cat comes by a tells her him that she has lost her red ball. Bubbles is in a dilemma thinking whether he should or should not give the ball away. He decides to give the ball away and the cat is happy again and how they play with the ball together. We have also read a few others from the series about Bubbles learning to own up & being Greedy and I must confess that the morals are put forward in an innocent & simple way that your kids will love Bubbles.

At the end of the book they have little questions on the story. The pictures are really adorable, simple and with at best one line on a page. The font size is big enough to make reading easy.
